The Rising Tide of Flood Risks

Understanding Flood Risks in Mauritius

Flooding has become an increasingly severe threat to properties across Mauritius, causing extensive damage and financial loss to homes and businesses. Recent years have seen a marked increase in flood-related incidents, often overwhelming traditional defenses and leaving communities vulnerable.

The changing climate patterns and rapid urbanization have exacerbated these risks, particularly in low-lying areas and those near water bodies. Trinity Floodgates offers a reliable, locally-adapted solution to mitigate these growing risks, providing Mauritian property owners with advanced protection against the unique flooding challenges faced on the island.

Our Unique Features

Why Choose Our Flood Barriers?

Our flood barriers offer unparalleled protection for Mauritian properties, combining cutting-edge technology with local expertise. Designed to withstand the intense tropical storms and flash floods common to our island, these barriers provide a robust defense against water ingress. Easy to install and deploy, they offer a practical alternative to sandbags and traditional methods.

Our custom-fit solutions ensure seamless integration with your property, preserving its aesthetics while significantly reducing flood damage risk. Choose our barriers for peace of mind during monsoon seasons and the assurance that your home or business is safeguarded against Mauritius’ increasing flood threats.

Durable Construction

Our flood barriers are built to last, using high-quality architectural aluminum alloy 6063-T5, which is integrally formed by die extrusion. The surface is oxidized and electrophoresed for enhanced durability. The water stop tape is made of EPDM rubber, integrally formed by mold. Other auxiliary parts are made of 304 stainless steel mold, ensuring long-term protection and resistance to harsh weather conditions.

Easy Installation

Designed for rapid response, our barriers can be quickly assembled and disassembled. They can be deployed in minutes without the need for specialized tools, allowing for efficient protection when time is critical. The system can be operated by just 1-2 people, making it ideal for emergency use in flood prevention and control during flood seasons.

Custom Fit

Each barrier is tailored to fit your specific property openings, ensuring maximum protection and minimal leakage. The effective waterproof height of each flood flap is 200mm, with width set according to the actual width of the door opening. For openings above 4500mm in the middle, a neutral column group or tripod bracket group must be set up. Suitable for installation in residential buildings, underground shopping malls, underground parking lots and hotels.

Installation Options

Our flood barriers are versatile and can be installed in two primary configurations to suit your property’s needs:
